Expediting and delivery

  • Escalate delays that threaten the programme to the Procurement Manager and the relevant Project Manager immediately.
  • Track long-lead items separately and report status weekly.
  • Coordinate delivery scheduling with site to match storage capacity and installation sequence.

Records and supplier management

  • Verify delivery notes and supplier invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies before payment.
  • Maintain records of warranties, certificates of origin and technical documentation for delivered materials.
  • Coordinate with the finance function on supplier payment scheduling and outstanding balances.
  • Report supplier performance issues for consideration in future awards.

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.

  • Understanding of construction programme logic and its effect on procurement lead times.

Technical skills

  • Ability to read drawings and BOQs sufficiently to verify material requests.
  • Arabic fluent; English to a working correspondence standard.
